Na jesien 2006 ma wyjśc nowy podręcznik do warha. Z racji tego, iż na forum ten temat się jeszcze nie pojawił, Zakładam topic prawiący o wielkich zmianach zachodzącym w Starym Świecie...
Na dzień dobry, tgrochę ciekawych informacji z warseera:
The magic lores have changed quite a bit, also there have been quite a few changes to core rules.
The major changes that I noticed:
5 wide for ranks
Psychology has been set to a standard 6”
The lore of life, and the lore of heavens have been drastically altered (more further down)
The miscast table is just plain mean
Wizards cannot transfer dice, so a level 2 has 2 dice at their disposal + the basic army dice, 2 basic, 1 for Mark Of Tzeentch or other magic items, i'm not sure if things such as Jewel of Dusk are only usable by the bearer or not. I missed that.
Standard & Battle standards now stack
Skirmishers now march like everything else. And therefore can be march blocked
Monsters can charge round units as long as they have the movement so to do.
A giant for instance could charge round a unit of skirmishers and into the nice ranked up unit behind it this is because they can change facing during the charge. (as long as they have the movement to get round it of course)
You only get the +1 armour save for having a handweapon and shield to the front
The board edges are now impassable terrain, not entirely sure how this will affect fleeing units, I missed that bit when I was looking through it
If you flee through an enemy unit of US 5 or higher you’re cut down. If you flee through a friendly unit you panic it.
There is a dedicated psychology phase before the movement phase, so all psychology, rallying, panic tests, stupidity is done here.
Great weapons only give +1str when mounted.
I didn’t see anything about being able to pick out single models.
On wards to magic:
Heavens now looks like this:
Portent of Far 5+
Second Sign 5+
Mystical shield 7+ - Gives a 4+ ward against magical & normal shooting attacks
Forked Lightning 8+ - d6 str 4 hits, requires LoS, no range
Uranions Thunderbolt 9+ - d6 str 4 hits, No armour saves, requires LoS, no range.
Comet of Cassandora 12+ - Remains in play, requires LoS. As normal.
Life:
Mistress of the marsh 5+
Same as before
Gift of life 7+ - The wizard, or a model within 12” is healed up to full wounds, this can be a monster, monstrous mount etc.
Master of Wood 8+ 6d str 5 hits.
Howler Wind 8+ (Altered slightly, don't exactly remember how tho )
Master of Stone 8+ d6 str 5 hits.
Crazy huh? There are a couple more spells, but I couldn’t memorise everything in the 15 minutes I had between games now could i?
Oh and:
The art work is excellent. Especially the O&G & the empire stuff.
The Empire army deal box has been confirmed for December
7th Edition has been confirmed for the 9th of September
The first available date for pre-bookings (in the UK) is the 9th of July when the GT heat tickets are released: This will be a gamers pack @ £60 with; Big rule book, little book (the one from the boxed set), A limited edition set of dice, a limited edition dice bag, & a set of the new templates.
7th edition will have a collectors edition rule book, this will be entirely on parchment paper, has red gold page edging, no text or boarder, just the art work in a tapestry effect on the front cover.
Mnie najbardziej boli to, iż, GW na rydwaniku daje tylko +1 do siły. Ale cóż, jest to logiczne, w końcu trudno będzie się na takiej kładeczcce porządnie zamachnąć...
